  • Use AI in a meaningful way as part of the solution (ML models, generative AI, NLP, vision, automation, etc.).

  • Submit on Devpost with:

    • A project title & description (what problem are you solving and how?).

    • A demo video (2–4 minutes) showing the prototype in action (NICE TO HAVE, NOT REQUIRED).

    • Screenshots or links (GitHub repo, live demo, or mockups).

    • A clear explanation of the problem, your solution, and its potential impact.

  • Identify the industry focus (Real Estate & Construction, Education, Law, Automotive, Nonprofit, or other relevant underserved/low-tech sector).

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Projects will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • Impact & Relevance
How well does the project address a real challenge in underserved or low-tech markets? Does it have clear potential to improve people’s lives or streamline an overlooked industry?

  • Innovation & Creativity
Is the solution bold, original, or a fresh take on an old problem? Does it push the boundaries of how AI can be applied?

  • Technical Execution
How well is the prototype built? Does it function as intended, use AI effectively, and show technical feasibility?

  • Practicality & Usability
Is the solution realistic, user-friendly, and deployable in real-world low-tech environments (e.g., mobile-first, SMS, offline-ready)?

  • Presentation & Storytelling
How clearly does the team communicate the problem, solution, and potential impact? Is the demo compelling?

Winner Selection
A panel of judges, including industry experts and community leaders, will evaluate submissions based on the above criteria. Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony on Sunday evening.
